Recognize the value of being present!

In the midst of our hectic daily lives, we recognize the value of being present. There are many ways of showing up:

  • The power of observing what others are experiencing
  • Finding a connection and feeling
  • Sharing a voice or action—whether it be through saying something, doing something, or writing something.

We invite you to think about these different aspects of being present. Which one comes more naturally to you? How can each of us commit to stretching ourselves to encompass each element of presence?

Compassionate Atlanta honors the power of presence. Below are just a few of the ways we have shown up this week.

Compassion around Atlanta

I remember exactly where I was on the morning of September 11, 2001.  I’m guessing that you remember where you were, too. I had no idea how the day would impact my life and my work.
