Nature

The trees are about to show you how beautiful letting go can beNature can teach us so many things…

We borrow these words from a dear friend:

“Let go of the brilliant leaves… The tops are stunningly beautiful but below they are dying back. The tree cannot rest and grow again until they are gone… Leaves are not a tree… They capture your fleeting attention but are gone before you know it. A tree is sure and stable and rooted and reliable. Be a tree.”

Just like the tree, we encourage you to share your vulnerability – to shed your leaves of always having to be strong and right. Be gentle with yourself and others. Times are difficult and now is the time to remember that your roots are strong, you are ever growing and evolving and spring will come again with new growth and hope.

We invite YOU to help raise the voice of compassion throughout our communities. Just $5 a month makes a big difference – skip that expensive latte and join the movement. WE NEED YOU!

Compassion around Atlanta

I remember exactly where I was on the morning of September 11, 2001.  I’m guessing that you remember where you were, too. I had no idea how the day would impact my life and my work.
