We often use the phrase “it takes a village”. So, when we ask the question, “Who is in your village?” Who comes to mind? Who’s there to hold your hand when you’re having a bad day? Or who is the person you call to pick up your child, if you can’t get to the school on time? Or maybe it’s just getting a ride to work. We notice that our village can be large and sometimes it’s quite small.
Today we ask you to think about your village. Who are you to others? And who are others to you
Take a moment.
Give thanks for being able to be there for someone. And recognize those that make up your village. Then call them, text them, hug them and let them know they are appreciated.
Words matter. Actions matter. BE compassion in action.
We invite YOU to help raise the voice of compassion throughout our communities. Just $5 a month makes a big difference – skip that expensive latte and join the movement. WE NEED YOU!
