2023 - Let Compassion Be our Compass

Get out and spread compassion!

Date

One hour. Can you imagine taking one hour for yourself every week? I call it my power hour – it’s also known as restorative yoga. It’s one of my best hours of the week! Today when I was leaving yoga, I noticed some women wearing pink tutus walking down the street. It wasn’t a usual site. Then I realized these women were giving up three days to walk in solidarity, remembrance, and honor for those we have lost, loved, and love fighting breast cancer. Three days. My power hour and their three days.

What I know is that time is precious. And I also see that compassion is abundant. Self compassion – my power hour. Three days of compassion – honoring those we love.

There are lots of ways to support great organizations in the fight against breast cancer. October is breast cancer awareness month. Check out this list of events that are going on… And there’s a two day walk coming up in November.

So put on your pink shoes and go find your power hour.
