2023 - Let Compassion Be our Compass

Get out and get involved!

Date

On this beautiful day in Atlanta, as we see the daffodils bloom 🌼 and the birds start their singing, we feel the restorative and healing power of nature. Compassionate Atlanta is pleased to partner with The Outdoor Journal Tour for their upcoming month #wehiketoheal. Read below and consider joining in!

The Outdoor Journal Tour is a hybrid health organization that combines the healing tenets of outdoor activity with introspective journaling and mindful meditation.
In March, we are hosting a month-long international women’s wellness experience, called #wehiketoheal#wehiketoheal stands for “women everywhere hiking to heal”, and is designed to promote outdoor healing, empowerment and community building, among women. We will challenge our community to not only get outside, but also to immerse themselves in our four Pillars of Mindful Movement (MIND, RELATIONSHIPS, BODY, AND COMMUNITY). Each week we will have journaling prompts, webinars, guest speakers and other resources to support our participants. Then finally on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 we will have #wehiketoheal group hikes all over the world.

Our Atlanta hike will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 10 am at Stone Mountain Park. This experience is absolutely free.

Thanks to our sponsors, it will include:

  • “A Sun Salutation” Mini Yoga Experience (The Healer’s Collective)
  • Guided Mountaintop Meditation (The Outdoor Journal Tour)
  • Private Outdoor Juice Reception (REI + KIND snacks)

Participants will have the opportunity to write postcards to friends, family, and other women in need as part of The Wish Her Well Project. #wehiketoheal is free to all participants, but we are selling t-shirts to support 3 women’s wellness charities.
