Become a Charter Partner

If you share our belief that social justice and healthy community are founded on the principle of compassion, we invite your organization (group, business, etc.) to join us as a Compassionate Atlanta Charter Partner and become part of a global movement with a local focus.

A Charter Partnership costs you no money; it is not something you purchase. Rather, you become a Charter Partner by making a commitment to the principles outlined in the Charter for Compassion. In so doing, you pledge to continue to work on the principles of the charter in whatever ways are best for you. We, in turn, commit to supporting you in that effort whatever ways we can.

Once you sign the Charter, you will get a welcome letter from Charter for Compassion International. We will then assign you a Compassionate Atlanta Ambassador. As your ally, we will promote your community events through our newsletter, website, and social media. In addition, we host special programs for our Charter Partners, providing an opportunity to network and expand the mutual support for this good and often challenging work we do.

As a Charter Partner, you benefit not only from our efforts at Compassionate Atlanta, but from the compassion work being done at the national level and worldwide.

On the Charter for Compassion International website, there is a passage that reads, “Now, more than ever before, we… believe it is possible—and indeed, urgently necessary—to tap into our common desire for a more compassionate and peaceful world by building a vast interconnected network of compassion among the peoples of the Earth.” We couldn’t say it any better than that.

So then…
Are you ready to take the next step toward building a more compassionate world by becoming a Charter Partner?
